RIGHTFOOT — 2nd edition of the programme “Artists in Residence Fine Arts Lisbon”

17TH  AUGUST > 13TH SEPTEMBER I GALERIA FBAUL /// ÁTRIO DO GRANDE AUDITÓRIO

In the second edition of the “Artists in Residence Fine Arts Lisbon”, 15 international artists engaged with the space of the Faculty for four weeks. During that period of time, the actual building of the oldest artistic school of high education in Portugal was the object of contemplations, reflections and expectations that are projected into the future.

The exhibition PEDIREITO emerges from that process of discovering the historical heritage of the Faculty of Fine Arts, including its remarkable collections of sculpture in plaster, drawing, engraving, and painting. It is also the result of the encounter between different cultures as well as of the convocation of multiple perspectives on art that this project provides.
