The Post Graduation courses do not grant an academic degree and aim at continuing education, the deepening or acquisition of techniques and knowledges in specific professional areas, or the opening of new scientific fields and the acquisition of practical and technological skills in specialized areas.

The Post Graduation courses not leading to an academic degree have variable formats and durations, being composed by course units, seminars, internships or other modules, to which correspond ECTS credits.

The programs leading to certification of various types that do not award an academic degree consist of:

• Post graduation improvement courses, with a minimum student workload of 30 ECTS credits and a maximum of 59 ECTS credits;
• Post graduation specialization courses, with a student workload corresponding to 60 ECTS credits.

The completion of a non-degree awarding Post Graduation course is attested by a certificate issued by the Faculdade de Belas-Artes. Optionally, a diploma can also be requested by the student.
