FBAUL Mentoring Programme

The FBAUL Mentoring Programme will begin in the forthcoming 2026–2027 academic year as an institutional programme designed to welcome and integrate new students into the Faculty of Fine Arts.

In its first year, the FBAUL Mentoring Programme is open to students who, in the 2026–2027 academic year, are enrolled in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th years of their degree course and who wish to participate voluntarily as mentors, fostering peer collaboration, social interaction and cultural exchange, whereby students already attending FBAUL (mentors) facilitate the integration and provide support throughout the year to students who are new to our faculty (mentees).

The mentor facilitates integration, provides support in tackling the new challenges arising from the transition to and adaptation to higher education, and is focused on the wellbeing and success of new students. They possess a sense of responsibility, ethical commitment and a spirit of solidarity, empathy, clear communication skills, good interpersonal skills, initiative and availability. To establish a genuine connection with their mentees, mentors must be able to listen attentively, give and receive constructive feedback, understand the individual needs of each mentee and offer guidance that facilitates and supports personal growth.

Interested students should register by 4 September.
