A obra “Monstruosamente inconformado“, de Hugo Guerreiro, é a vencedora da 3ª edição do Prémio Paula Rego, ao qual concorreram 34 obras de alunos da Faculdade de Belas-Artes da Universidade de Lisboa (FBAUL).
O vencedor do prémio, realizado em parceria com a FBAUL, foi anunciado numa cerimónia na Casa das Histórias Paula Rego, com a presença do filho da artista, o realizador Nick Willing, no dia 14 de fevereiro.
A terceira edição do Prémio Paula Rego é a última do conjunto de três edições dedicadas exclusivamente aos alunos da Faculdade de Belas-Artes da Universidade de Lisboa.
Na primeira edição, em 2016, a obra escolhida pela pintora para integrar a sua coleção pessoal foi O Presente / the Gift de Margarida Lestra Salvador . Nicoleta Sandulescu foi a vencedora da segunda edição do Prémio Paula Rego, com a obra Comeste? Sim, Mãe.
Foram selecionadas as seguintes obras para a exposição a realizar na Casa das Histórias Paula Rego, em Cascais, que inaugura a 13 de dezembro, às 18h30:

Podem concorrer a este prémio todos os alunos inscritos nos cursos do 1° e 2° ciclos da Faculdade de Belas-Artes da Universidade de Lisboa (FBAUL), com matrícula válida à data da candidatura (ano lectivo 18/19) ou no ano lectivo 17/18 e que tenham terminado o ciclo de estudos.
A submissão da obra original a concurso é feita online até ao dia 19 de outubros 2018, mediante o upload de uma fotografia da mesma, com qualidade igual ou superior a 300 dpi, e o preenchimento completo da ficha de inscrição. O nome do ficheiro de imagem deve ser o título da obra.

O Prémio Russolo é um prestigiado evento internacional que, desde 1979, premeia anualmente peças de compositores de Música Eletroacústica Acusmática. Sessões de escuta das peças finalistas têm lugar em diversas cidades mundiais. No próximo dia 21 de Novembro, pelas 19h, o Grande Auditório da FBAUL acolhe uma destas sessões, durante a qual o público presente poderá votar contribuindo para premiar uma das seguintes peças selecionadas:

Luigi Russolo (1885-1947) foi um artista do movimento futurista italiano que, em 1913, escreveu “A arte do ruído”, manifesto que contribuiu para revolucionar o universo musical do século XX.

CANDIDATURAS ABERTAS ENTRE 14 DE SETEMBRO E 14 DE OUTUBRO DE 2018
Encontram-se abertas, até 14 de outubro de 2018, candidaturas para bolsa de mérito e consciência social ao abrigo do regulamento da Universidade de Lisboa publicado em DR nº 18 de 27 de janeiro de 2014, para dar apoio pontual a atividades, projetos e ações desenvolvidos pela FBAUL.
Estas candidaturas destinam-se a alunos matriculados e inscritos regularmente no atual ano letivo de 2018/2019 nos 1º, 2º e 3º ciclos da FBAUL (licenciatura, mestrado e doutoramento), que tenham um rendimento anual per capita, do próprio ou do agregado familiar em que se insere, não superior a 1.5 x IAS/mês (€628,83) e que não beneficiem de qualquer outra bolsa destinada a estudantes do ensino superior.
O horário será estabelecido de acordo com as necessidades da FBAUL, sem prejuízo das respetivas atividades escolares dos candidatos.
Valor da ação de formação: 5€/hora, sendo que o valor mensal nunca poderá exceder o valor mensal fixado pelo IAS em vigor.
Para a formalização da candidatura, deverão ser entregues:
a) Impresso de candidatura disponível AQUI;
b) Curriculum vitae;
c) Comprovativos da situação de carência económico-financeira, em especial a nota de liquidação do IRS do ano económico imediatamente anterior.

Artists and Designers in Residence Belas-Artes 2018

Applications for the 3rd edition of Artists and Designers in Residence Programme are open!
Once again the Convento de S. Francisco da Cidade becomes a meeting place for artists from all over the world, a space of artistic education, knowledge sharing, transdisciplinary work that promotes the (re)encounter between different cultures.
The activity takes place between August 27th and September 14th at Belas-Artes Lisboa. During the project resident artists will have the opportunity of participate in the various offered courses of Engraving and Engraving Installation, Sculpture, Digital Production and Photography/Multimedia. They will share a work studio with other resident artists and use, with due follow-up of technicians, the workshops available for development of their projects.
Besides the activities planned by Belas-Artes, this edition’s partners — Câmara Municipal de Lisboa, EGEAC e Galeria de Arte Urbana (GAU) — have arranged free entrance to all resident artists to some of the most notable cultural institutions at Lisbon and some special visits in territories with great street art influence.

HOW TO PERFORM THE ONLINE REGISTRATION IN ARTISTS AND DESIGNERS IN RESIDENCE?
Application to Artists and Designers in Residence is carried out exclusively online and through the FÉNIX platform.
Before making your online application please read the instructions below.
If you have any additional questions or doubts, please contact the Communication and Image office of our Faculty. (COMUNICACAO@BELASARTES.ULISBOA.PT; +351 213 252 114/73).
1. To make your online application you first need to access the FENIX platform and authenticate with the data of your CAMPUS @ ULISBOA account. If you have lost access to your CAMPUS @ ULISBOA account, you can make your recovery HERE.
2. If you have not attended any course (Bachelor, Graduate, Masters or PHD) at the school of Fine Arts and therefore have no CAMPUS @ ULISBOA account, you must necessarily carry out a pre-registration in the FENIX platform HERE.
3. NOTE: there have been some problems in sending messages to the completion of pre-registration and for addresses of the following domains: @ NETCABO.PT; @ HOTMAIL.COM; @ VODAFONE.PT. As the reason for the delivery failure is unknown to ULisboa, if your email belongs to one of these domains, we must warn to the fact that we cannot guarantee that notifications of the application process are delivered on time. As a result, and if you are using an email address with one of these domains, we can only suggest that you sign up with an @GMAIL.COM.
4. After entering the application, you must select the “CANDIDATURAS” tab. Then, you should register your application by choosing the “ARTISTAS E DESIGNERS EM RESIDÊNCIA” option, and according to yours specific application situation (Belas-Artes students or alumni, international artists/students or national artists/students). After these steps, you should finish by filling in the requested data available in the electronic form.
5. The online application will only become valid after payment of the respective registration fee, and and ATM reference shall be provided for the purpose of payment. If the payment is not made until the specified date, the process is terminated and your registration loses validity.
6. Payment is exclusively made through the generated ATM references and cannot be done either by bank transfer or directly at our services in Belas-Artes.
7. ERRORS OR OMISSIONS DURING THE FILLING OF THE ELECTRONIC APPLICATION FORM OR THE REGISTRATION PROCESS ARE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CANDIDATE.
