The External Relations and Communication Office acts as an interface between the Faculty of Fine Arts and various audiences and is responsible for promoting its visibility and external image. Its functions include supporting, organising and publicising cultural and artistic events and activities involving the Faculty, particularly when these involve the public exhibition of projects and works by its members. The External Relations and Communication Office manages the content and communication of the Faculty of Fine Arts website, acting primarily in its representative capacity. Among the activities promoted by the External Relations and Communication Office are exhibitions aimed at showcasing the work of students, teachers and other artists, preferably presented in the Faculty’s spaces, but also in other locations. Relations with civil society have also involved hosting conferences, seminars and workshops at the Convent of S. Francisco, organised by the Faculty or other entities. In addition to these activities, the Office organises and supports free [extra-curricular] courses throughout the year, after working hours and open to the public.
The External Relations and Communication Office also coordinates the publication of the Faculty of Fine Arts’ publications and ensures their distribution and dissemination.
