Gabriel Abrantes
Gabriel Abrantes (b. 1984, North Carolina, USA) is a filmmaker and artist. His films have premiered in competition at the Cannes Film Festival, the Berlinale, Venice, and Locarno. In 2018, Diamantino, co-directed with Daniel Schmidt, won the Grand Prix at the Semaine de la Critique in Cannes. He has exhibited at Tate Britain, Palais de Tokyo, MAAT, and Serralves.
