Inaugurated on 9 February at 6:30 p.m. in the Chapel of the Faculty of Fine Arts, the exhibition matéria sensível, forma indizível: corpo e espaço em artesanias fotográficas will remain open until 13 February.

This event may be photographed and filmed and subsequently disclosed publicly.

The exhibition matéria sensível, forma indizível: corpo e espaço em artesanias fotográficas is an invitation to a journey between body, form and space. In it, the image is not presented as an immediate record, but as a gradual event and unveiling.

By bringing together the artistic work of Leandro Souza, Odinaldo Costa and Taci de Farias, the exhibition proposes, through cyanotype, a reading that opposes the instantaneity of the digital, establishing an extended relationship with time and inspiring a political gesture of resistance to haste and oblivion.

Here, the body ceases to be merely a theme and acts as active matter and autobiographical territory. And thus, it articulates subjectivities, identities, memories and presence.
