‘ZEEBA’ is an artistic manifestation of a complex retrieval of obscured roots, exploration of controversial identity of mixed bloods and cultures and an attempt to embrace a disintegrative experience of trauma. Besides the personal context this art installation refers to general cross-cultural and interreligious relation of the most powerful and competing yet the closest belief systems such as Islam and Christianity. Placed into the former chapel of St. Francis Monastery this installation regains a deep and sacred atmosphere of a personal sanctuary through the boundless means of art.
