avatars 277 — between physicality and virtuality
28 FEVEREIRO > 07 MARÇO 2025 I FINE ART GALLERY, Kenyatta University, Nairobi, KENYA
Inaugura no dia 28 de fevereiro, na Galeria da Universidade Kenyatta, na cidade de Nairobi, no Quénia, a exposição Avatars 277 — Between Physicality and Virtuality, no âmbito do projeto CAPHE.
Over 9 sessions, 27 hours of work, we held a workshop with the KU Fine Arts students dedicated to the themes of water and using the Avatar as a reference for the transition from the real world to the virtual world.
The forms were initially modeled in clay using assemblage techniques with different materials. The models were then digitized and worked on in VR and finally printed in PLA filament.
The exhibition we present today reflects the work developed.
We would like to thank everyone for their willingness and commitment, especially those who worked directly with us.
